This painting was made 'en plein air' in person, on a freezing cold Rodeo Beach, during sunset. Even though my finngers were numb for half of the time (I was woefully unprepared for the wind and cold!) I was able to capture that golden hour of light that I love so much! I'd do it again in a heartbeat!
