I love using lavender in a painting, and red rocks in shadow are naturally a beautiful shade of dusty purple. The white moonflowers are so beautiful in the foreground, their delicate petals make a good contrast against the roughness of the desert, and are a reminder that beauty can survive in the hardest curcumstances.
